Brittany did extensive alterations to my wedding dress and I am beyond elated with how it turned out! She changed the silhouette of the skirt and lace overlay (something that other tailors told me would be impossible), added lace-embellished sleeveless top, and made sure the small details were perfect. I am so happy with the results and can’t wait to wear my dress down the aisle. –Suzie

About Something Old, Something New Bridal

At Something Old, Something New Bridal, we offer brides the unique experience to customize and design their dream wedding gowns. We offer the opportunity to use family heirlooms or unadorned designer gowns to achieve a one of a kind and personalized look.  We specialize at helping brides achieve their distinctive style and vision.

Brittany is currently working on my wedding dress and I could not be more excited to see the outcome! The dress I had purchased is rather plain, so I requested that Brittany add extensive, personal details to my dress, this includes over a hundred buttons down the back, a fixed jeweled belt all around the waist, and turning a strapless dress into racer-back design. However, out of all these exciting details I am most thrilled that Brittany will be adding in a pocket for my insulin pump, allowing me easy access to my medicine throughout my wedding day. This type of alternation is not only convenient but lifesaving!  Brittany is WONDERFUL and I would recommend her to any bride who is looking to work with a caring seamstress. -Kristina

I am so thankful for the work Brittany did on my wedding dress. I must have tried on 100 dresses and did not like anything. Finally I found a plain dress and decided I would find a great seamstress and have it altered to the way I imagined my dream dress. A lot of seamstresses told me what I wanted couldn’t be done. Brittany was willing to take on the challenge! She assumed me it would be ok and she could do it. She really put me at ease and I felt confident in her. She was so patient and professional in my indecision and she never rushed my appointments. She was awesome! Thank you Brittany so much for my dream dress -Sarah

Working with Brittany was an absolute pleasure! The whole process, from the initial consultation to fittings and the completed project was a wonderful experience. Brittany was knowledgeable and addressed all of my concerns, completing the alterations in a timely fashion. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results and will continue to contact SOSN for all of my future work. -Riana

Something Old, Something New Bridal was established in 2014 by Brittany Harris and Brianna Neville. Brittany and Brianna first met at Radford University where they both enrolled in the Fashion Design/Merchandising Program. Both brought a love of fashion, fabrics and design and instantly connected and vowed to one day own a shop where they could give others the opportunity to create and design beautiful custom gowns.
